Ahrens Lab @ HHMI Janelia

for systems & computational neuroscience

Seeking to understand how the building blocks of cognition arise from interactions across large neural circuits, cells, and molecules. We study these questions in the larval zebrafish. We ask biological questions and develop experimental and computational techniques to address them, focusing on understanding how flexible behavior arises from computation in brain-wide neuronal and glial circuits.
