the neuroscience of control and learning across brain and body

Seeking to understand how flexible behavior, and flexible control of body physiology, arise from interactions across large neural circuits, cells, and molecules across the brain and the entire body. We study these questions in the larval zebrafish. We ask biological questions and develop experimental and computational techniques to address them, focusing on understanding how flexible behavior arises from computation in brain-wide and body-wide neuronal and glial circuits.
